The Astro A50 is a wireless gaming headset that is designed and sold by
Astro. The Astro A50 is truly a sign of a high quality gamer. If you see any
other gamer out there with these then please take a moment to bow down out of
respect for them!

DOLBY DIGITAL 7.1
The Astro A50 Headset has amazing sound quality considering it runs Dolby
Digital 7.1. Dolby Digital 7.1 means it simulates a 7 Speaker 1 Subwoofer setup
that provides superb directional hearing. This can be used to your advantage in
most games as it will help you hear every footstep of the enemy inching closer
SUPERIOR FIT & FINISH
The A50 fits all heads, shapes and sizes, (unless you have a fucking huge
head). The over-ear cushions are so soft and easy on the ears. Normally after
using my Turtle Beach X12 for 4-6 hours of straight gaming my whole damn head
hurt, but with the Astro A50 your head and ears will not feel fatigued after
long-term use. I definitely recommend this headset if you have long marathon
Astro A50 comes with 3 different EQ Modes 1.Media (Enhanced Bass for music

Compatibility On All Systems
Whether you are a Xbox, PS3, or PC fanboy this device will work on your
system. So if you are like me and own all three then this is great for that very
reason! I mainly play PC games, but I switch between Xbox and PS3 since some of
my friends are split by the different systems.
TUNED WITH ASTRO AUDIO®
Astro worked closely with pro gamers and audio designers to allow for the
highest level of clarity at all frequencies. Astro designed the A50 to sound its
absolute best when playing games, watching videos, or listening to music!
I've had a few problems with this headset, and I honestly expected perfection
considering the Astro A50 Headset costs $300 USD Autel
Diaglink. Some of the problems were small, and most were honestly faults of
myself that could be fixed easily. The biggest problem by far is the "Noise
Gate" on the headset. The so called noise gate blocks out background noise, but
Astro made a fatal mistake when designing the headset. Astro made the noise gate
way too overpowered. When speaking if you don't have the microphone in your
mouth or you are not talking loud enough it will make your voice fade in and
out. This makes the microphone unusable at night if you have to speak softer.
Astro promised a fix for the Astro A50's "Noise Gate" issue months ago through a
driver update that would allow you to adjust it, but so far it has not been
Note: This problem is really bad on PC, but is not nearly as bad on
Another problem that I happened to encounter is being able to hear your voice
through the headset. It seems that I can't hear myself unless I am putting the
microphone practically in my mouth. This isn't that big of a problem, but it can
be annoying when people tell you to quit yelling into your microphone.
All of the other problems that I encountered have been fixed and only
happened simply because I didn't plug my amplifier into my optical port on my PC
